20 Facts About Me

Hello everyone!

So, I was sat here the other day and a thought came to me, you lot don't really know anything about me! I've decided to fix this and give to you a 20 Facts About Me post!

These facts are slightly different, but you know, I guess it means you would be getting slightly more than 20 if you carry on reading and check out that video!


  1. My full name is Lucie Joanna Ainsworth. Yes, my name is is with an ie not a y, and no, I never owned anything with my name on it...
  2. I am currently 17 years old.
  3. My birthday is the 22nd March. Yes you guessed correctly, my birthday is in 2 days!
  4. I have two sisters, one older and one younger and we all have two years age gap between us.
  5. I own a cat. He's black and he's called Bilbo and he's incredibly cute. I just want to squish him and smother him with kisses every time I see him.
  6. I suck at using technology. I just don't really understand the internet or YouTube or anything tbh...
  7. I'm currently studying A Levels at an all girls school.
  8. Those A Levels are Dance, Drama, English Lit and Sociology.
  9. I'm OBSESSED with Pretty Little Liars! Honestly, who knew a show could be so addictive?
  10. I'm quite stagey. I love listening to musicals and planning little routines in my head to different numbers, My favorite one to pretend to choreograph is Popular from Wicked!
  11. I'm not a night time person, I get so tired so easily. It's only 7:29 pm now and I could quite happily go to sleep.
  12. Going with the last post, i'm not really a morning person either, although I wont ever wake up later than 9am tbh, but I can't help that!
  13. I have a serious sweet tooth. I just always want to eat chocolate or have a fizzy drink or something, but I can't help it.
  14. I love to dance!
  15. I take exams in Classical Ballet.
  16. Currently an Advanced Foundation ballet student.
  17. I've never been to a music concert before.
  18. I use way too much heat on my hair.
  19. I passed my driving test in November, and I still don't have a car...
  20. I'm very family orientated!

Spring Essentials

Hello everybody!

As many of you can tell, spring time is fast approaching us and I for one am beyond excited for this!

Spring is my favorite time of year because of how it's sunny and warm, but it's not unbearably warm, so you can still throw a cute cardie on top of your outfit.

So today's blog post is all about my spring essentials, which you can hopefully get some advice from to get you ready for spring, or even just in the spring spirit if you're still bundled up in your duvet on the sofa with random left over Christmas snacks!

1. My first essential is pastel colours! Now I know this isn't something particular, but I just feel that there's no better way to get into the spring feeling then brightening up your wardrobe, or even just painting your nails in a lighter colour. My current faves for pastel colours are my Barry M nail varnishes in the colours Lychee and Papaya and my mint green cardigan from Primark. These are just perfect for my spring look because the cardigan ads a pop of colour to ant of my outfits, and the lighter nail varnish colours just add a little bit of brightness to my look.

2. Smoothies are also a favorite of mine for this warmer weather and are even great in summer because of how healthy they are and how easily you can make them as well! I think they're such a great way to start the day because they're quite filling, but also so refreshing! You can also make them how you want as well. Want it a little bit thicker? Put less juice in it. Want to be even healthier? Add more greens! It's completely up to you! And if you're feeling lazy (like myself!) you can just pop down to the shops and buy yourself one!

3. This kind of links into the previous one, but fruit is a big love of mine throughout spring! I always try to eat a little healthier throughout spring to get that summer body we all dream of! So I try and substitute chocolate and sweets for fruit as it's such a healthier alternative and tastes just as good! Honestly, I have just as much a sweet tooth as the next person, but you will honestly feel so much better about yourself for it! Also, if you suffer from acne/spots like I do, the less junk food you are eating, the better your skin will be, which means we can all wear a lighter coverage foundation in summer or go bare faced, woohoo!
